Sudden diatom outbreak on established tank

Hello, I am unsure of why I am getting a sudden diatom problem. Only things that are new is a container for my overflow, not sure if that can leech silica? And new gfo/ carbon reactor. I have had diatom blooms at start up of tanks but never suddenly like this any ideas?

Any new plastic items introduced will leach a bit of silica, and it sounds like you've recently added a few things which could be suspect. I wouldn't worry about it.
