So I had several feather duster eggs on my coral plugs when I purchased a couple new frags. I had them for 3 or 4 months then all of a sudden I start seeing them everywhere and now what were eggs are actual feather dusters now. I thought they wouldn't survive much less start replicating. They are the soft tube ones. Is this a bad thing?

This is a week or so old pic. I have since take the coral from the plug. These same shaped things are all over the tank now just way smaller.

There was also a couple flat worm parasites on that torch but I got them off.

Those are spirobid worms, not eggs. They can proliferate pretty wildly at times. They are not a threat unless you leave your magnetic glass cleaner in the tank and a few of them grow on the velcro unnoticed. Don't ask me how I know!

I've never known how feather dusters reproduce and never see anything but the fully formed ones on my tank. I do get new ones all the time.
