Hello, I have a 96x30x24 300G tank. My MP60 on the left side broke and a new one is being sent for delivery tomorrow.

The only flow is my ecotech M1 return and a Gyre 150 on the right side.

My PH is normally 8.1-7.8 but now it's 7.7-7.6. Is this cause for concern? The only thing that changed was my MP60 blew out on Friday and the tank has been running without it yesterday.

Here is my apex screenshot:

Trying to figure out why so low!

The only other odd thing about my tank is that my ATO CONSTANTLY runs for very brief periods of time to the point it's aggravating. No idea why that is but it runs for 10 seconds, 1 min break runs for 10 seconds again ALL day. This is a new development over the past week.

Agree is your ATO emptying. That cycling would concern me of a small leak somewhere [emoji54] checked salinity lately?

Not really, I also dose kalk through the ATO (Tunze kalk container inline with return from ATO pump). So I would think continuous top off would result in higher PH. I think that may be an unrelated issue to my ATO (Tunze) being very old (had it since 2012). It's like it's constantly running because it hardly runs long enough to replenish.

Been searching for slow leaks
Checking salinity

Nothing abnormal there.

On your ato switch is it a float switch or optical? If it's a float switch check to see if it's bobbing up/down, if it's an optical try cleaning the eye.

Figured I'd post an update here; the replacement for my mp60 came today and shortly after I put it online my pH is sitting at 8.01. It looks like it was the lack of flow and a single gyre was not enough co2 dissipation for that size tank.

As far as the ATO is concerned I am potentially just going to replace it as I think I have cleaned the sensor so much that it's starting to malfunction. This is the oldest piece of equipment in my tank...currently it's still one of the original pieces I bought when I first started reefing.
