do you think depleted co2 media would cause a drop like this? I assumed ild see a slower decrease over a few days not a sudden drop like this. I set up a scubber on the 26th and havnt replaced the media since then, so its likley that it is the media but still seems odd to me it was such a fast decline. Just wanted to hear from some more experienced reefers... The peaks may be at odd hours as i run my dt lights from 4pm-2am

My tank does this aswell during night and day cycles. When lights are off the ph drops .2 - .4 and goes up when the lights turn on. Your probe might have just malfunctioned a little bit for some reason too. That’s what I think.

Yes but look at the last day that drop is very inconsistent with the days leading to it... a mis read from the probe could explain a spike butbthis is a clearly downward trend.

It could be lots of things.

Did you close windows?
Use a gas stove?
Have a lot of people over?

Might be test error ( electrical interference, something on the probe, etc.).

I did change how/when i dosed soda ash red is normal day yellow was the day i had the dip so im starting to lean away from the co2 media being the cause and that the soda ash actually has a longer effect on ph then i thought.
