suddenly cloudy clogging socks

last night my tank became increasingly and suddenly cloudy and the socks keep clogging ,they feel a bit slimy. tank is established however the only thing - I purchased an anenome and withing 24 hrs he vanished . I mean gone . no, he didnt get into overflow etc. he just disappeared- died behind the rocks.
ammonia looks .25 maybe a bit more .

doing 5 g water changes as soon as my rodi makes it , continually .

Sounds like something went terribly wrong if the anemone died within hours of you putting him in there. Either way take him out if you haven't already and do a 30-45 gallon water change.

All fish and inverts so far are ok , just confused. Ill keep doing water changes.

oh now i know what i did... od on dosing vodka . wow . that stuff is powerful to have this reaction .

Are you sure the anemone died and didn't just go hiding and curled up?

Your ammonia should be undetectable. Larger water changes

I would stop the vodka dosing and clean the socks out. Do 40% water change.
