Suffocating Aiptasia?

I have them in my overflow too, and mine is always covered...so no blocking the light won’t help. I just threw a couple peps back there a week or 2 ago. I peeked last weekend and there were still aptasia. It’s just so hard to maneuver back there to try and kill them or scrape them off.

thanks!

I’ve used these methods to control the Aiptasia inside the tank but ones that are in the overflow are almost impossible for me to get to.

I took one out the other day and it was lying on the eurobracing of the tank and dried out and died, so it got me thinking about trying to accomplish the same thing by dropping the water level in the overflow... but doesn’t seem there’s a lot of optimism around that idea :)
Thats the reason for syringe as it reaches tight spaces.
You can as proposed, drop water level and scrape off with the edge of old credit card and discard as you remove them
