A Clown fish ate a sera Marin granule that was rock hard and way to big for him. Now he's laying on the bottom of the tank breathing very heavy and acts like he can barely swim. I don't know how much longer hell make it. Please help fast!

You could try a freshwater dip (dechlorinated, temperature matched). Shocking him might cause to spit out.

Crucial to feed food particle sizes that are appropriate for the size of the fish.

I have him in a net at the top of the tank for the night. It makes me so mad at the fish food company seeing him laying there and he probably won't make it through the night. There were pictures of Clown fish on the container. It was sera Marin staple diet. I don't recommend it at all and I will never be putting anything in my tank but bribe shrimp. Thats what they eat in the ocean anyways. Not fish pellets

I dont want to dishes because I fear it will use up the little energy that he has left. He's turning white from stress.

How fast did it happen after he ate the piece? I don't think that would cause an immediate incapacitation would it?

Brine shrimp (unless just hatched by you) are a poor source of nutrition and won't sustain our fish by themselves as I understand.

Use mysis shrimp reef frenzy black worms blood worms there are other frozen also that are good

Here's a pic so you can see the discoloration on his bodies barely breathing now

An update: as bad as it looks the fish made it through the night. These tank raised Clown fish are virtually bullet proof. I tried to put him back in the tank and after swimming around a little bit he sank back to the bottom so I put him back in the net until i get home this afternoon.
