Sugar dosing

I'm looking for a tutorial if you like to start sugar dosing my tank. It's 600L
My phosphate currently is 0.18
My nitrate is 29.4
Only thing g I'm really seeing at the min is some cyano on sand bad

It's a bit alian to me and not going to lie I was suprised when I found out you can dose sugar to our tanks haha.

What type of sugar and how much?

What are your thoughts on this? I have done this several times on a few different tanks with amazing results in nitrate and phosphate reduction.
