Suggest More Fish For My 60g

Eatbreakfast & shrimpar0306- re: flame hawk, that makes sense. My melanurus wrasse could have taken out the fire shrimp long ago
(he DID take out the smaller peppermint shrimp that I had...). I suspect if I get a small flame wrasse, the fire shrimp will be fine.

Ok, here's my working list:

Blue/green chromis (group of 6-10)
orchid dottyback
midas blenny
flame hawk
blue sapphire damselfish
melanurus wrasse (currently in DT)
brazillian fireball angel (currently in DT)

The blue sapphire damselfish is a new contender here... I actually meant to add it to my original wish list.
I had AEFW last year and completely started over w/ acros in March'17, so the the blue sapphire damselfish is
in response to that. I'm hoping those worms never get in my tank again, but apparently this damselfish eats
AEFW... so I'm just thinking it could be a (partial) insurance policy.

Any thoughts on how the damsel might play w/ the others on my list? (Keep in mind, I'm talking about chrysiptera springier,
NOT c. cyanea.)

6-10 Chromis? That's a lot...
Also,how is Orchid Dottyback?

The group of chromis is more than I was initially thinking but was recommended to me here in this thread (see above).

I think the orchid dottyback will be ok, but any comments/suggestions are welcome!

C. springeri is a very well behaved fish. I highly recommend it.

Ha, I just re-read something that I wrote earlier:

You guys probably already knew, but I meant to write "flame hawk."

...though I wouldn't mind a flame wrasse (!!!)

I had a 60 cube for years. I loved having my bright Yellow Cori's Wrasse. Also had a pair of Leopard Wrasses. Midas Blenny always added some personality as well.

In the op'scase I wouldn't recommend the potter's wrasse and choat's wrasse because these 2 species are exceptionally difficult species. I would also recommend against a lineatus in that sized tank, they get large for a fairy wrasse and are quite active.

I would also suggest a flame or longnose hawk. They are hardy, colorful, and can take care of themselves.

Thanks guys, lots of great stuff here. alex.mccann99- I've always loved yellow coris wrasses. Definitely a possibility.

To me 6-10 chromis are a bit much for a 60g, but in groups smaller than that infighting among them is worse.

One other fish I've always loved is the peppermint hogfish (B. sepiacaudus). I know they can be risky w/ crustaceans, but maybe if I can find a small one it could work?

eatbreakfast - that's kind of what I was thinking. I do like the idea of some dither fish though- anything you might recommend? Anthias are awesome, but I worry that I won't be around to feed them 3x/day. I suppose I could always set up my auto-feeder...

They always end up getting aggressive and always end up eating inverts. I don't think it will work out.

Consider a group of zebra or scissortail dartfish as dither fish.
