So process of planning a tank upgrade started with a new skimmer and now have upgraded my lights to ai prime hds. Have a total of 3 units for the upgrade but was going to use 2 for my current 20g long replacing my galaxyhydro black box.
1 Acropora valida
2 pocilopora
1 Seriatopora
1 Briareum asbestinum
1 Euphyllia paradivisa
1 Palythoa colony

My question is if my galaxy hydro is set at ~10” above the water surface at 100 actinic 40 white.
What would be a good acclimation setting for the ai primes?

If you had that hydro set at 100 blues, you shouldn't have to do much of an acclimation as those lights are power houses when it comes to par output. I would start at around 30 to 40 percent power and raise it up 10 percent from there each week until you find the sweet spot that your corals like just to be safe.

Ok sounds good, though have the fun part of now moving the tank 2 additional inches from the wall for the ai mounts. Glad its only a 20g. Guess tomorrow became wc day lol.
