Suggestion on how to hang lights.

I need to hang my 3" 4 bulb t5 Aquaticlife fixture or my AI led fixtures over my 30 long. The back of my stand is flush which would lend itself well to attaching some kind of braces to the back of the stand. Hanging from the ceiling is out because I will be moving the tank to another location in the future. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Brightsky makes some decent brackets, thry connect to your tank oppose to hanging from ceiling you can find them on amazon.

Conduit pipe maybe? That's what I used it's pretty heavy duty. I attached it to the back of the stand in those 2x4's

Are the 90s just fittings with the single screw for each connection?

Yea they are threaded on each side, I spray painted them black and got a higher conduit so I can raise the lights when doing water changes and maintenance

Any concerns about the structural integrity of the supports? Are the wires just hung over the conduit?

No they are pretty strong, I have push on them down hard and they don't move just make sure you attache them good to the stand. My light weights probably 20 or 25 lbs and they hold it strong. Haven't had any issues with them sliding off the conduit but I put a little plastic stopper at the end just in case

I did the same thing on 2 tanks. Has worked well. First pic is my old 75g with Reef Optics MH second is my new 75g with old PFO MH.

I didn't plan ahead and had to solve the problem of hanging my lights after the tank was in place so I wasn't able to get a drill behind the tank to attach a mount so this is what I ended up with. I didn't want to drill the ceiling(rental) and I can always take it apart and make something else when I move.
