Hey all -

So of course, I’ve been running a Nuvo 40 gallon AIO (build threw here), and am kicking around upgrading to something larger.

Pretty much maxed our on corals, and I’m finding that adequate nutrient export to be a little more... limited... with an AIO tank.

Looking to upgrade to something in the 80-100 gallon range. Previously had a 150 Aqueon which was great, but a tad too larger for my third story apartment.

I’m keeping mostly LPS and softies. Lots of mushrooms, acans, chalice, and scolys - so sand bed space is definitely at a premium.

Have been looking at the PNP systems from SCA (SC?) Aquariums. Probably the 90 cube, 90L, or 100.

Anyone have any strong opinions or dimensions for tanks in that size range that they like? Or brands? Obviously the size (90L vs cube) or lagoons, etc would all offer different areas of real estate.

Figured I’d ask!

Here’s a kicker: probably looking towards rimmed tanks. Want to do a proper canopy and don’t want to mess with floating like on my current tank.

Love the look, but the light bleed is a little intense next to my couch!

I’d do a standard 90 or 120 then. If you weren’t doing the canopy I’d say do a lagoon, much more room for coral.

I think lagoons are great for lps tanks, but agree with hemmdog that I wouldn’t Do a lagoon with a canopy. I’d go 90 cube or 120 4x2x2 for that size range
