Hi I am kind of new to the saltwater aquarium hobby and have been searching for a reef friendly algae attack squad of sorts. I find crabs and such that seem great at first but find out that they will eat hermit crabs and/or snails. For example the emerald crab seemed awesome but I found out that it can eat your fish if it gets a hold of it. I have a 32 gallon BioCube and I have a pair of clown fish with some hermits and snails, also have a torch coral, 2 zoanthids, and 1 lime slushy ricordea. I am planning on getting more coral and fish in the future but wanted to get an algae attack squad in my tank before I do. Any suggestions?

I run a crabless tank for the same reason. My fav CUCs: cerith snails, nassarius snails, conch. For algae, i love trochus snails and turbo snails. Although, the best way to beat out algae is to outcompete them in the first place, so for example - having a fuge.
