Suggestions for easy, beginner corals to add some height

Need some suggestions for easy, beginner corals to add some height to different areas of my scape. My tank is 125 gallons, 72"×18"×21", using two fluval canister filters, 3 Viparspectra 165w LEDs, no skimmer. I currently have several zoa colonies, a maxi mini, a rock flower garden, green striped mushrooms, rhodactis mushrooms, a few acans, frogspawn, hammer, candy canes, weeping willow toadstool, and a favia. What would you suggest to add some height and contrast?

Acropora Millipora(Green Slimer), Branching Montipora species, Seriatopora or Stylophora, Pavona, Porites and Heliopora just to name a few!

Aren't those sps? I thought all sps were considered fairly difficult.

You could do a kenya tree. Just have to keep in check.

Those are some of the easier ones that will add some contrast and height that your looking for! Your Euphyllia and Caulastrea corals will add height plus your Sarcophyton(Toadstool) will also do the same. Turbinaria, platygyra, Girgonians and sponges also!

No; certainly more so than softies, but I feel that A LOT of the difficulty perceived around SPS as a whole comes from acropora being notoriously difficult.

Try Green Nepthea as well, they can get tall and add to the height you are looking for.

Kimberly, you can also work on your height issue by rearranging you rock work to be more longitudinal than horizontal. I set my rocks up so that I have some of my rocks actually out of the water to give more of a shallow reef biotope. Some of my hermits, snails and crabs like coming out of the water periodically, believe it or not!

Be careful with many of the soft corals like Xenia and Anthelia as they grow like weeds and will overtake many corals. Moreover, many are very toxic such as those mentioned above plus Sarcophyton and Lobophytum and Sinularia. They engage in chemical warefare and will overpower and possibly kill many corals if adequate filtration and population control isn’t addressed!

Will do. The finger leather coral is a singularia species isn't it? I'd really like one of those. It's gorgeous. But I don't want it if it'll be an issue.
