We have a JBJ 45g (26.50 x 20.98 x 18.98) using a Hydra 26 light about 10” above the tank. We’ve been downloading profiles for the light but I’m conserned about how strong they our for our tank. We have a mixed reef, everything looks good and opening just worried because we added a BTA and it immediately went into hiding (I know they are finicky and this is part of their nature) but he has hid and is in a spot that doesn’t get a lot of light. I’m starting to think the blues are too strong for it/the whole tank. Our current profile we are using is JP’s Coral Grower. Any suggestions or feed back is greatly appreciated!

Coral List:
Mushrooms (all types)
Duncan’s
GSP
Australian Elegance
Tortch
Hammers
Favia
Blasto
Zoa’s
Acro

@jsker
Can you help out Jeana with the Hydra and her concerns?

Thanks, Freddie

If you can move the lights up to 12 inches you will have a better spread. The anemone will move if the light is to much for it;)
What are your settings now?

My husband just changed it to David Saxby’s setting because I suggested the blues were too much. I attached what the schedule looks like now.
