Suggestions for modding a 48" TEK T5 Light fixture with LED's?

I have both the 8-bulb and 6-bulb fixtures

How would you do it? What would you use? Anyone done it yet? Looking for some ideas and pics

i think the reflector is in 2 pieces on the tek not individual reflectors so you have to start there

True. I was thinking about tin snips for the middle 4 reflectors and mounting a couple of reefbrites or something.

If your gonna just use reefbrites, remove the bulbs and place them inside the reflector... Simple and painless... If your gonna go the DIY route your gonna need to remove reflectors and have a heat sink built... Personally if I was you I would just Add a reefbrite to each side of the fixture "outside" and leave the t5's for the best of both worlds... I use a mh/t5/led contraption for the best of all worlds lol...
