Suggestions for next fish in aqua one 300

Hi all I have a 300 litre tank with sump that has been running for around 6 months. I currently have a royal gramma, and two small Ocellaris clownfish.

I am looking for suggestions on my next fish or few future fish.

I have done some googling but articles online seem to disagree with the general consensus here. For example I really want a tang articles online suggest this is fine but the consensus here is my tank is too small. I also was debating a green chromis but it seems people on here have difficulties with them.

I like bright colourful fish and they need to be reef safe (have Zoa’s and want to get into lps and sps eventually) and also have inverts.

Is that total system volume (display+sump) or just the display? 75-80 gallons can be a little on the small side for a tang, considering that they can grow fairly quickly. If you find a really small one you'll probably be good for at least a few years before needing to upgrade the tank or rehome the tang.

Chromis are easy to keep. Other fish: lyretail anthias, coral beauty dwarf angel, flame hawkfish, any dottyback, azure damsel, midas blenny, etc.

I had read that chromis can be aggressive? Same with dotty backs? I do love the look of coral beauty’s but also heard that they can eat soft corals?

Maybe with these fish it is just the case that naturally people tend to post on here when something isn’t going right with them and they are the exceptions?

I haven't seen any aggression with the half dozen green chromis I have. They're fairly laid back... Dottybacks are usually fine if you just have the one. The coral beauty is probably the most reef safe of the dwarf angels, but if that's a concern there are still plenty of other fish to choose from.

Ideal thanks. Can you have 3 chromis or do you need either 1 or a bigger group?

I have six, and they vary in size a bit (from medium to slightly smaller). I've also had 2, 3, 4 and 8 at various points; they're a schooling fish, so the more the merrier.
