Suggestions how to glue frags to rock without.....

Hi all.
I’m Looking for suggestions on how to glue frags to rocks without my shrimp glueing himself together!

Last time I glued one on (using EcoTech glue) my shrimp got a little bit too nosey and began eating and picking at the unset glue!!! LUCKILY he was ok, but at the time seemed to be really stressed (me and him both!) his claws glued together shut and had glue strands coming from his mouth
I obviously want to avoid this happening again, any suggestions out there?
Feeding him whilst I glue them on didn’t work unfortunately.

Feed the shrimp first. This will also help prevent fish from picking at it. If you give the shrimp something big it will take a minute or 2 for him to eat it.
Wait a couple more seconds before putting the frag in the tank so the glue takes less time to try or use an accelerator. Another option depending on where you are gluing is to put a water bottle or something similar over the frag. Even if you have to physically hold it after 1-2 minutes it should be safe or at least safer.

I have been using Tunze Coral Gum with is a two-part adhesive. It mixes purple, but it also sets up nice and quick. Using CA I find it can take a bit to set up and yes some nosy critters can get themselves caught in it. This coral gum seems to work great. I have used it for frags and for rockwork and thus far really like it.

Hi. I’ve thought about using epoxy/gum. But I’ve always been frightened that it will cloud my water and deplete oxygen. I’ve got a 30litre nano tank, so not much room for ‘error’. Does the Tunze cloud the water at all?/would I have any issues with it.

Cyanoacrylate sets with presence of moisture, so just dip/drip/mist with water and wait a few seconds and it will develop an outer shell of cured glue.
