I'm looking for suggestions. I have a Hydra 52 and a director to control it. The light is 10 inches above the water line on a 36 gallon bow front (21" tall).

Here are my current settings.

I do plan on lowering the percentage for the uv , from what I have read 90 percent is way too high.

It's pretty much blues at 75 whites 40 green red 30. 2 hour ramps and a 2 hour difference between blues start and white.

Anyways, suggestions? Your experience with these? Presets to download?

I have my blues and violet at 100, whites and uv at 75 and red/green at 45. Put it on a 50% acclimation for three months.

I'm also supplementing with 2 24w t5 - super blue. It helps keep the 16-20k look.

There's a guy on here in the hydra settings thread that has had great success with a 52 over a 60 cube. I'd copy his settings and just set a moderate acclimation over a few months. Your corals will tell you if it's too much too fast, just keep an eye on them.

White is your strongest full spectrum channel followed by blues, uv, violet, green, red. Looks like your starting out so acclimation is key, over months not weeks or days.

Red and greens are needed but that spectrum feeds algae. Blues and violet holds growth. White is full spectrum. UV helps with growth/ sterilization, but can also burn up your tips if set too high.

AI Director using your online account with your desk or laptop you can set your color spectrum from 7.5k-20k. Whatever you set your spectrum at start at 30% and increase to your desired affect and growth goals.

I was trying to set a 20k spectrum but didn't see how to on the director. It a cool program, I think I just need to play with it some more.
