Wow! Looks like a really bad case of hair algae. What is in the tank as far as animals/corals at this point? How large is the system? What are the components that make up the system, and I do mean a list of EVERYTHING? and as @mtraylor queried, what are your current tank parameters? With this starting info, better, more focused solutions may be forthcoming.

Yuck. Are u over feeding by chance. water parameters way off. Temp too high?
Time for a big water change.

On this forum alone you can search "GHA" for green hair algae and read about a bazillion posts on the subject.

You gotta a lot of reading to do if you really want it gone
