Sulphur in the reefaquarium

Doesn’t Seachem Prime sometimes smell like sulphur because one of it’s primary active ingredients is a form of sulphur, or another ingredient that degrades to a form of sulphur, which in proper quantities is beneficial in closing the nitrogen cycle, but in excess can cause other problems?

Not sure what you are asking, but Prime appears to do nothing useful for ammonia, and speculating about it more without knowing what is in it (Seachem won’t say) is not particularly effective.
