I live in Southern California where summer can reach 100 F. my 120 gallon tank is inside the house, hallway area with no direct exposure to sun light. but it can still get hot in the hallway. I don't have room for chiller, any suggestion other than using the room AC to maintain the water temp?
Can I use frozen blue ice (maybe ziplock) and place in sump?

Hmm, what do you usually keep your temp in the house at during the summer?

I have multiple zone in the house, the area where the tank is, not area that we usually use, so usually we don't turn on the AC. Other area of the house, we keep about 78

Well if the temp does get warm you can definitely try ice. Just be careful not to get the temp fluctuating too much. What's the temp the tank is at its highest reading?

I have not went through summer time yet, tank started in November.
Currently I maintain 78-79 with Ranco temp controller to cut off my 2 heaters at 82

If I use room AC, what temp is ideal to maintain 78-79 water temp, can I set it at 85 or that's too high?

The tank would eventually rise to that temp.

IMHO the best and cheapest option in the long run... a/c compressor and drop in coil. Here is mine (the smaller unit - 9000BTU):

^-- That. Just have a fan blowing over the surface of the water. The increased evaporation will cool the tank.
