Limited on cabinet access due to stand Standard 125 Aqueon cabinet stand. Would a sump that is 24 x10 x 16 H handle a tank this size if I placed it next to tank w drain down. Please advise. Thank you.

i would say thats way to small for a 120 if power went off it would over flow

The biggest question is how much water do you anticipate draining from the display. Your sump size in question would be about 16 gallons total. Subtract how many gallons will be in the sump during normal operation. The volume left will be the space for the water that drains during a power outage or pump failure.
There are ways to limit how much water drains, but there would be extremely small margins for error for your tank with that sump. My current tank (250 peninsula) will drain about 11 gallons when the pump goes off. Knowing that info is invaluable when deciding your sump configuration.
