Sump add on refug

I have a 60g cube and I'm running a 20g long for my sump, I have been thinking of adding a refug but i don't want to replace what I have. Can I or has anyone added a hang refug onto the sump externally? I am only running a skimmer at this time, Reason for external is I don't have a lot of room in my stand.

You could do a HOB fuge on the sump.

I have researched the HOB fuge I think I am going to give it a shot thanks.

Will do, now I need to find the one that will best suite my needs inside the stand.

Shame you aren't closer to me - I have a HOB that I would loan you to test out your theory. I had it on my 29g tank and it worked fine.
