Sump and Protein Skimmers

What are some of the best cheep-ish protein skimmers and sumps because I know they make the tank a lot better but does anyone have any details about them that are good to know?

all kinds of deals out there just takes some research and persistence, I picked up an eshopps rs75 sump and a coral box DC skimmer $275 for both delivered.. good for tanks 35 to 75 gallons

My Somatic Vertex sump and skimmer come as a set for a little under $300 I think. BRS has them. It’s a perfect design and size to fit under my 60 cube.
