sump baffle bubble trap sponge

Hello everyone. I'm wondering what type of sponge and where I can buy it that goes in the baffles bubble trap area of a sump. The sump I purchased did not have a sponge in there but I've seen them on other sumps. I'm having a micro bubble issue and I'm hoping putting a sponge in the baffles after my protein skimmer will help eliminate the bubbles from my DT. I researched around and could not find any info on this so I must be the only one dumb enough to have this question LOL

How recently did you setup your tank? Honestly most bubble traps stop 99% of bubbles. Reason i ask is becauae you may have used water conditioner to remove chlorine from your tap water. That stuff temporarily changes the viscousity of the water causing over active skimming and thousands of micro bubbles reaching the display tank.

Set it up 3 days ago. Didnt use water conditioner. Used rodi. My skimmer is putting out a lot of bubbles though. It's new reef octo 110 space saver.
