So I'm about to go at removing some baffles in my sump to fit in a roller mat. My tank is a reefsys 326, which I love, but the sump design I'm not too happy with. Gonna have a go at some in situ mods to it, and if that doesn't work I'll have to think about replacing it.

Any tips or advice on removing baffles in awkward places?

If it's glass, a few fresh razor blades will get you there. Acrylic and you'll need some tools and a dry sump.

Yeah it's glass. I have an old feeler gauge for setting up guitars so I'm hoping the thinner ones may fit and get the job done.

Good call. Thin and flexible. Once you get it behind the silicone, you should be gold.
