I started to rebuild my bio cube. Rebuilt the stand, drilled the tank and made a overflow box so I can plumb the tank into a sump. I started the sump today and I am building it to hold the AquaMaxx WS-1 skimmer. It is small, but I only plan on having about 5 high end acros and a few high end zoas. Only going to add 3 small yellow tangs and 2 mocha clown fish. Should I go with a bigger skimmer?? I have not got to the skimmer section yet but I need the space for this sump to fit in the cabinet. Just starting to doubt this skimmer and to make the skimmer section bigger I would need to make the fuge smaller and it is pretty small already. Thoughts??

What is your total water volume?
What is that skimmer rated for?
How often and how big will your water changes be?
Is there any other filtration in the system?
How big will the fuge be?

its a bio cube and the sump so I am guessing only 35 gallons at max. I am pretty good at up keep. I really think this skimmer will be fine. Just overthinking I guess

I think so as well. Plus I plan on very little going into this tank.......and I kinda glued up the rest of the sump.
