A bucket head.
Is a shop vac that fits on any standard 5 gallon bucket. Cheap. Available at homecheapo

With that said...
Mulm, which takes time to grow, and grows in the sump, especially in corners and other areas of lower flow, you know, the areas that get dirty, turn otherwise flat unused space into 3 dimensional spaces that are filled with helpful bacteria. So i’d recommend not cleaning sump too thoroughly, or too often.
Keep the display clean. Let the sump do it’s thing

I use the Python water changer after asking a similar question and it works very well to both clean out the sump of rubbish, and also do a very easy water change.

I don't use filter socks. DIY sump from a 55g. I have a layer of filter floss in the first chamber I change bi-monthly, but some debri gets past that. just looking to clean the last compartment where the return pump resides. when I turn that pump off, to feed the corals, the back flow stirs everything up in that chamber, which then gets dumped back into the DT when the pump is turned back on.
