Sump design inspiration

Need some inspiration for the sump, getting my 8ft built soon so I've been asked to send them a drawing of what I'm thinking for the sump. Can you attach picture of yours below . Thanks

Depends on what equipment you're likely to want/have.
I designed mine around the equipment and what I intended on having in there.

I am having a Theiling Compact Rollermat, ROSS150 skimmer, some marine pure biological media, chaeto and return pump. I will have media baskets between the rollermat and skimmer chamber.

as previous poster suggested, if you're going with a custom build it's a good idea to build with the end in mind. Plan for the types of equipment and functionality you foresee your build to be incorporating. More often than not if you end up not using it, it's far better than not having planned for it in the first place. Custom Bashsea sump below incorporating 2 Klir-7's with an extra large return chamber to accommodate two return pumps.

I am planning a 230Gallon, with 2 1.5" drains to the sump. Do you have 2 drains there going into the 2 Klir 7s as well? I'm wondering how those get hooked up
