Sump design

My sump is an older sump but has three chambers, one where I have a skimmer, water coming in, LR and a GFO Reactor. To the right have have chaeto and a return in two different chambers (Picture below). Not all my water passes through my chaeto and would like to make sure it does. Any suggestions?

You could replace the main chamber to returns wall with glass or acrylic so its forced to go through the chaeto

I like that idea. I will have to see about having glass or acrylic cut. It's also full so it will be hard to get an accurate measurement of that piece since the tank is running.

Either raise the wall between the skimmer compartment and the return compartment, or lower the wall between the skimmer compartment and the chaeto compartment. Either could work, depending.
