I am noticing heat in my sump with cabinet doors closed. There isn't room for a PC box fan in the opening on the back of the cabinet. Looking for a 9 or 12 volt fan that I can mount on the side cabinet wall that blows to the back wall were the cut out is.

Any ideas?

Rather than use a fan can you just vent by adding holes or slots high and low? You could use slated doors like the closets of old.

What is the typical ambient room temp where the tank is setup?
You could view this as a good thing if your room temp stays at or below 75*ish - possible lower the need for your heater to kick on, = less power = more money for corals!

Got a Fan, power supply, rheostat on Amazon for 17 bucks. The only problem is it very noisy and I though it would be . I just wanted the pwr supply and controller. Going to get a Noctura fan know that I know it worked and solved the problem.

I keep my home at 77 during the day and 75 while asleep. Its an oven in the sump w fug light. The tank was going over 80 and sometimes near 81. I simple fan dropped the tank temp over 1 degree in 24 hours. Its chillin at 78.9 right now 24 hours after install. Get one.
