Hi everyone,

So I just set up my system and there seem to be a lot of microbubbles. Lots of foam in the sump as well... Any advice would be appreciated. I was told that the water needs to flow in between the two last baffles but I don't see any space there and when I tried it, there wasn't enough flow to feed the Eheim return pump. Here are some pics and a vid.

I would suggest lowering the water level in the sump. Also unable to view video.

Here’s a pic of my sump try lowering water to where it’s just beneath the baffles.

Nice setup! Ok I will try that. Just below right? I don’t know how the water will flow from the first baffle though but will give it a try.
Yes just below it so it’s like a little waterfall, correct me if I’m wrong but are your baffles the same height?

From the looks of it it almost looks like you need to flip the sump around

Pump is making a lot of noise and there are bubbles tons of it... am I doing it right?

I think you need flip the sump around is the baffle on the right taller than the one on the left? Also need to add a little more water.

I don’t think it needs to be flipped. There are holes custom for the return pumps and tubes.

Okay that is a much better picture just add water slowly until it starts raising and it get quiet. But don’t add to much where it’s over the baffle

The baffle on the right is tallest. Idk how to flip it around. It wouldn’t fit into the stand the right way... unless idk.

Hmm that’s different. Just try adding a little more water to the sump

Did the sump come with the tank? When purchased?
