I wanted some insight as to what sump I should purchase for my upcoming 210 reek tank I'm about to build. I want something over 40 gallons. But so far I haven't found a sump which is large enough. Thoughts?

What's everyone else using on tanks at or over 210

I use a eshopps rs300 on my 210, no room for a refugium; they do have a refugium model but I believe you are looking at more like 30 gallons. The trigger systems emerald39 has a 40 gallon volume and is a very nice sump if it's in your budget.

My tank is only 120 gallons but I built my own out of a 55 gallon. Purchased on online kit from a supporter on here and loved the results. With what he provided it was very easy to put together. He does offer a very nice sock filter system but I wanted to keep it simple and go with a much bigger refugium.

Who provided the sump kit, my next sump will be a diy.

I'd second the use of a 55 or 75 gallon standard tank with the baffles placed where you want them. I feel like on a lot of prefab sumps, the return chamber is unnecessarily large, and center or refugium chamber much too small

When I had my 210 up I used an Elite Aquatics that I was quite pleased with when it was being used --- One day I hope to have the 210 back up, took it down to move and whenever we finish the basement I will set it back up.
