Will depend on size of fuge and food available. Why do you want to keep them in there?

I don’t think there is a specific number as long as there is enough food so they don’t kill each other

Agree with above, depends on the refugium. Not really a refugium if you're adding predators though, is it?

Don't know if I'd have more than 1 in that small of an area. Mine weren't the best at algae either.

yea, I definitely would not put emerald crabs in for an algae problem unless its bubble aglae.
