I started reefing in 2006 and I have always ran the tank sumpless. Throughout these years I have managed to refrain from getting more fish than my old clown couple... until yesterday. I brought home a couple of Bangaii cardinals and a tailspot blenny. My old clown couple behaved as the perfet hosts and allow the new fish in their territory. I don't deserve that beautiful sump: my fish do. It would allow the tank to have a better skimmer than my HOB, to better support the bioload of my 9 BTA's (they eat a lot) and get a refugium.
