So, I’ve got this little yellow neon goby. Originally it was in my display, but the little turd (about 1” long) went on a bit of a rollercoaster ride and is evidently living in my sump. Been weeks since I’ve seen it, so who knows how long it’s been down there?

Anyways. Assuming I can get the thing out of there, is there a way I can keep it out? There’s currently 0.5” eggcrate on top of the overflows keeping the rest of my fish from the same fate, but I haven’t seen anything near small enough besides netting to stop this tiny goby. What it was even doing at the surface, I don’t even know.

I had one that routinely went up to the highest parts of my rock and coral...so yours is not the only one that spent time high up in the tank.

I would probably just leave him in the sump being as you have rock and such in there. Fuge? He probably eating pods.
