I have a 4 month old 55gallon and want to add a sump. I bought a 20 gallon tank and was going to make a DYI sump. However, due to the shape of my tank stand I cannot fit anything but a 10 gallon under my display (the space is big enough but the way it’s shaped I can’t get it into the space).

Is there a way to have multiple separate containers for a sump? Or any other ideas on how to add a sump with limited space

Build the sump in the stand? :zany-face:

I drilled my aqueon 55g...you would need to check the tank....here is a video
Showing how to do that

Where did you buy the glass to do this?

Any local glass shop can get you want you need. Just go with your dimensions written down and make sure to tell them what edge you need finished. Usually 1 long edge on each piece. For the baffles you may want to get both long edges finished. You can also get them online but local is usually easier.
