My baffles collapsed once I turned my return on.display tank just got setup . The sump is a glass 40 breeder and the baffles are glass also. The silicone was applied a month ago in my garage.

I just did my 40 breeder as a sump too. Did you silicone the bottom and all sides that you can reach?
This is what I always use.

Lowes or home depot. Make sure is silicone 1. If you can let it sit once applied for 24 hrs. But if in a rush I've put water in it after 12 hrs.

+1 on the GE type I and not the TYPE II. type II has some type of mold inhibitor or something,
or just use and aquarium RTV glue which i have found on the hardware store in the glue section in paint. i have never used any thing else. i have personally never used what you posted so would not know the end results of using it.

Not acrylic! You want GE Silicone I. Also, the more days you give the silicone to cure, the better off you'll be. A minimum for me is three days.
