Sump help

I have a 54 gal corner that I need a sump for and narrowed it down to 2 choices. The first one is the eshopps cube with refugium, the second is the somatic 60, both will fit under the stand. The somatic has a skimmer with it that I think a skimmer will be more useful than a small refugium. Does anyone have any experience with the somatic sumps as well

I have experience with the Eshopps Nano sump, depending on what side you want to face, it is nearly impossible to see the other side, that side for me is the sock and return side, the return side is so small getting a ATO switch in there and a pump is really difficult, there is not much room, now if you make your pump external and drill a hole and put a bulk head in there that would help a lot. Other than that it is a good sump, has a fuge area and room for a small skimmer like a Aqua Maxx WS-1, Tunze 9004
