Hi guys the section which i have my pump in my 100l tank is going down even when i add water to that section, the water level was always higher in this section. If i add water it goes down to the current level. Any help will be appreciated.

When adding water does where does the level go up? Is it the display or another chamber? Could be pump is working faster than drain, or chamber passage. Could be dial pump down, or clog in chamber?

Hi thanks for your response. If i add water to that pump section, it goes back down to that level but the level of the tank goes up. I have only had my tank 6 week and am new to marine so not fully clued up, i have looked for blockages in the sump and cannot see anything.

IMO, it seems that maybe the pump is pushing faster than the drainage works. Was this an all in one set up ? Did it come with the pump? I am assuming the drain only allows water to flow to the sump in the left corner to force the water to flow through the entire sump? If there is nothing in the chambers slowing the water flow, need to understand what the flow rate is for this set up and see if the pump is just too much.

Yeah everything came with the tank and all has been fine until today so i guess there must be some sort of blockage along the sump somewhere, i am going to have a clean out of it tomorrow and hopefully that fixes it or i see an issue that i cannot currently.

I think it's a good idea. When removing the filter pad does it work better?
No, i will give all a good clean and hopefully find something. Thanks for your time and response. Much appreciated.
