Sump help

I have a Trigger Systems sump. I noticed in the box where the return leads to there is leaking at where the lid is screwed down. It looks like it slowly trickles from under the plate and through the plastic screws themselves. The water does hit the top of the lid. Has anyone else experienced this and come up with a fix?

no one else has this problem? Should I just glue the blue lid down and put glue into the screw slots?

Can I use silicone? Something like this from BRS.

It says not recommended for acrylic. Will it still cure?

I had similar issue and yard a fish bag as a waterproof gasket like barrier
I also had seeping around the pipes from return lines and blocked that too
Silicone should work but should you sell later may offer difficulty to clean it up

Likely means not for construction purposes but should work as a barrier to water
