Sump ideas

i am gonna building a new sump for a 150 rr got 2 ideas wondering what people thought

thats how i have my sump for my 90 right now but herd about the other idea so wanted everyones opinion

i have also seen people run the skimmer in the first chamber the return pump in the second chamber then the refugium in the third chamber

Thats how I would do it(and did) seems to give you the most control on flow in and out of sump.

I would go option 2. If I remember correctly I read that putting a skimmer after the fuge isnt really an ideal situation.
Or the 3rd option that you brought up, I have seen a lot like that as well

If you did the third option would you run the drain in there or return and would you run one piece of glass to let the flow go over or 2 pieces and let it go under then over

I did over under and like it. T off return to feed fuge in last chamber or off drain - I went off return for final polishing
