I've actually never seen this stuff before to be honest, thought you were referring to the boxes eggs are sold in.
I'll check it out, given the mesh isn't too big.

The egg crate stuff turned out to have holes big enough for my engi to squeeze through, so I just resorted to superglueing a bunch of toothpicks and skewers to the front. It works so far.
oh this reminds me, I still have to go get a dremel...
