So I just set up my 250 and filled it on Thursday… filled it up, dialed in the over flow and all seemed to be well. I came home two days later to a dreaded gurgling sound from my tank. The return was low on water and the over flow box was near empty. I did have my ATO filled and hooked up but noticed no water had drained from it as I marked the ato tank to check… I poured RODI into the return and I seem to have it resolved… my guess is my tank ran low due to evaporation and my ATO did not work properly? Could it really loose that much water to evap in two days ? This is the stock Red Sea ATO system btw…

Yea I would say if the ATO failure probably happened
