I had to re-plumb my tank a few months ago. I have a Trigger Systems sump, before I re=plumbed the sump it was silent. I now have a constant water trickling sounds. It is coming from the weir where the water comes from the drain lines. No matter how much I change the water level, increase or change the filter pad the trickling returns. Should I extend the pipes deeper onto the chamber? Slow the pump down?
Thanks.

Can you post a picture?

I have put sponge or plastic mesh and extended/shortened pipes on different projects to lower the water noise and the proper solution is the one that works.
