Sump - noticed a crack in brand new sump

I picked up a sump this weekend it was wrapped up brand new so I didn’t even take a look.
Noticed this when I got home. The crack isn’t all the way through just the inside. But it’s right on a joint so I am not sure if I put some Weldon in the area I can get to and put a piece of acrylic over it, will it fix the issue like an L Then more Weldon. I’d like to keep it and run it if I can but if not then I will take it back. It’s not going to kill me if I see some Weldon and acrylic. Upset but I can live with it.

I would just take it back and swap it for one that isn't cracked if you got it from a shop. If you bought from an individual, then I would go back and try to get some money back.

Yup replace it...especially if its bought brand new...

Hopefully you bought it new from a shop and they will replace, if not contact the person you bought it from (and just say you help getting it replaced), and if that fails contact the manufacturer of the sump and tell them you bought it new in the box from another person and it shows no abuse damage but has a crack in it and ask if they can help. That really sucks and good luck.
