Hi all building a bunch of frag tables and wanted your expert opinions here.
Attached a pic of current dual table I plan on making my quarantine/intake coral tables.
However I plan on upsizing and adding 8 more tables with 4x64 gallon (To stock with live rock) res on bottom all on recirculating and return back on same system.
Question is do I need a sump? Or should live rock be sufficient with skimmers?
Any ideas?

Regards

Just depends on if you want your skimmer and heaters all showing in the tanks. You can regulate water changes temperatures and skimming via one tank. But I'd say optional. More volume of water and filtration never hurts!!!

Forgot pic of current set up.
What your seeing is 40 gallon on bottom and 2x26 gallon tables up top.

Going with 64 gallon tubs on bottom and may possibly go to flood tables up top for more square foot for moms and frags
