Sump or safe, the crab!?

Got this today, pincer tips are like a mithrax / emerald but lower in the centre like a horse shoe, came in under an un damaged spongodes monti?

I’d put him in the sump just in case. I trust no crab after a supposedly safe emerald crab sliced the tail off of my Scott’s fairy wrasse and killed it. Horrible things.
