Ok so I am looking at the JBJ 45 gallon cube style tank. It has a built in back filtration. My question is can a normal sump still be attached and added below the tank? I know the back area that is built in acts as a sump but I want one where I can attach a larger skimmer. Is this possible?

You can still use a sump, but it is a real pain with the tanks that have built in filtration. If you want to use the hang on back style of overflow, then it wouldn't be much of an issue.

I have a tank that has the filtration built in the back and I can't stand it. It doesn't work nothing like a sump.
